Big Boi headlines a free concert at Decatur Square on opening night. New Southside Trail miles open Friday. Nando's Peri-Peri is now open at Krog Street Market steps from the trail. And the O4W Spring Arts Festival takes over Historic Fourth Ward Park Saturday and Sunday.

The Southside Trail opens Friday. 14.8 miles and counting.
Officials have been working to open the trail ahead of June 2026 FIFA events in Atlanta. That moment is here. The Atlanta BeltLine is calling it a milestone moment for the city's growing trail network, and is encouraging residents to attend the June 12 opening celebration. The new segments connect Glenwood Park, Grant Park, Ormewood Park, and Boulevard Heights into one continuous stretch — and the Southside hasn't looked this good in years. Get out there this weekend and walk it. You're watching history.

Nando's Peri-Peri just opened at Krog Street Market. Right on the trail.
Nando's opened its first intown Atlanta restaurant at Krog Street Market, taking over the former Bar Mercado space. The South African chain is known for flame-grilled chicken marinated in PERi-PERi sauce — mild to extra hot, bowls, sandwiches, and cocktails. The timing is almost poetic: South Africa plays at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on June 18. Walk the Eastside Trail to Krog, grab a table on the patio, and order the lemon herb. You're welcome. 🍑

Sargent — the most anticipated O4W opening of 2026 — is almost here.
The team behind Lucian Books & Wine is opening Sargent on the Eastside BeltLine at 405 North Angier Ave. in Old Fourth Ward. Modern American cuisine with a French influence — wood-fired specialties, seafood, roasted meats, covered patio, high ceilings, wall-to-wall windows, and a curated books and magazines retail section. O4W Spring Arts Festival takes over Historic Fourth Ward Park all weekend.
Art, Beats, and Eats at the Old Fourth Ward Spring Arts Festival runs June 13–14 at 592 N. Angier Ave. NE — Saturday from 10am–5pm and Sunday from 11am–5pm. Paintings, photography, ceramics, glass, jewelry, woodwork, live DJs, food vendors, kids area, and art demos all weekend. Free. All ages. Dogs welcome. Walk the Eastside Trail straight to the park and find something worth putting on your wall.
