Atlanta BeltLine Southside Trail
πŸ›€οΈ Opens Friday

The Southside Trail opens Friday. 14.8 miles and counting.

Officials have been working to open the trail ahead of June 2026 FIFA events in Atlanta. That moment is here. The Atlanta BeltLine is calling it a milestone moment for the city's growing trail network, and is encouraging residents to attend the June 12 opening celebration. The new segments connect Glenwood Park, Grant Park, Ormewood Park, and Boulevard Heights into one continuous stretch β€” and the Southside hasn't looked this good in years. Get out there this weekend and walk it. You're watching history.

Nando's PERi-PERi
πŸ‘ Now Open

Nando's Peri-Peri just opened at Krog Street Market. Right on the trail.

Nando's opened its first intown Atlanta restaurant at Krog Street Market, taking over the former Bar Mercado space. The South African chain is known for flame-grilled chicken marinated in PERi-PERi sauce β€” mild to extra hot, bowls, sandwiches, and cocktails. The timing is almost poetic: South Africa plays at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on June 18. Walk the Eastside Trail to Krog, grab a table on the patio, and order the lemon herb. You're welcome. πŸ‘
